Pay self employed driver £110 per day for 8 hour day delivering goods through London. If you look the average wage now a days is about £100-120, and must take into consideration that the drivers pay there own congestion charge.
£60 profit, £110 as expense, taxable
In-site within 1 year to have 5 drivers working daily at a rate of £110 per day 'my business' will income a total per day of £850 (5x£170 rate) based on above - and pay out a total of £550 to 5 drivers at £110 each equating to a £300 profit per day. On a weekly outlook when my business has 5 drivers working on an income rate of £170 each per day for 8 hours in and around London, multi drops or Print drops) the daily total is multiplied by 5 Mon-Fri:
My Business Income:
Receive £170 x 5 drivers = £850 per day (£4250 per week)
Pay out £110 x 5 drivers = £550 per day (£2750 per week payout)
Profit = £300 profit per day, x 5 = £1500 per week
Monthly income total Gross: £17,000 (contracts based on £170 per day)
Monthly Expenditure Gross: £11,000 (5 drivers on £110 a day)
£1500 x 4 = £6000 per month giving us a profit of £72,000 annually after the expenses of paying our drivers:
£2750 per week drivers pay out, £11,000 per month drivers payout, to £132,000 drivers payout annually, each receive £26,400 salary.
Total business turnover is £204,000
Total business expenditure £132,000
Net Profit £72,000
Take a 2 person salary for example Bill and Ben, a salary based on a monthly income of £2500 each, equates to £30,000 per annum each.
Total £60,000 for both their salaries in year 2.
Business Net Profit would then change from £72,000 - £60,000 =£12,000
Figures in year 2 and year 3 will hopefully accumulate to an additional 5 drivers per year giving them a total of 10 drivers in year 2, and 15 in year 3.
So year 2 = 10 drivers @ 170 per day rate = business income of £1,700
10 x £110 = £1100 pay out with a £600 profit per day.
Weekly pay out = £4400, business income = £6800
Monthly pay out =£ 17,600, business income = £27,200
Annual pay out = £211,200, business income = £326,400
Year 3 = 15 drivers @ £170 per day business income of £2550
15 x £110 = £1650 pay out with a £ 900 profit per day.
Weekly pay out = £ 8,250, business income = £12,750
Monthly pay out = £ 33,000, business income = £51,000
Annual pay out = £396,000, business income = £612,000
ALL THE ABOVE IS A BUSINESS MODEL FOR WHEN WE HAVE 5/10/15 DRIVERS ON BOARD IN YEARS 1 2 AND 3.
Here is a business model with one person on board (me)
This is me running my own business as a single person scenario and getting that one special contract which I devote myself to and give extremely good service too, as a company 'we' offer a whole day rate of 8 HOURS inclusive for £170, in and around London Areas.
£170 x 5 = £850
£850 x 4 = £3400 (x 12 = £40,800 annually)
Diesel per day would be £30, x 5 = £150 per week, £600 per month,
I would take a £500 salary a week as self employed and leave £200 in the business and for maintenance etc, so the business will grow by £200 per week, £800 per month, and £9,600 per year. Giving me a yearly salary of £24,000 per year after expenses.
Simplified:
INCOME ANNUALLY £40,800
INCOME MONTHLY £3,400
INCOME WEEKLY £850
INCOME DAILY £170
EXPENDITURE ANNUALLY £7,200
EXPENDITURE MONTHLY £600
EXPENDITURE WEEKLY £150
EXPENDITURE DAILY £30
= AFTER EXPENDITURE ANNUAL PROFIT £33,600
MONTHLY £2,800
WEEKLY £700
DAILY £140
As you can see if I take a salary of £2000 per month, £24,000 annually, from what is left over £33,600 - £24,000 = £9,600 can remain in the business.
The Business will need a month’s Expenditure to begin as the payment terms are 30 days.
Business Account will need a cash injection of £1,000
The other good thing about this business model is that we have everything basically given to us on a plate, we have you, who has a wide range of contacts and gift of the gab to close deals and get new business, we have mobile phones and Internet email, we have me, who has a fully fledged van insured and ready to go with GIT cover of up to £15,000 and very good knowledge of London Area, and presentable, can also pick up new leads. This is all we need to start off, and grow the business.
Probably the majority of your task would be on the phone and also using me as a transport system for the Print deals you make, this can be taken off our expense in a whole and result in more growth
As a statement from me, this actually did work for me for a whole 2 years, but i only managed to have myself on board as for various reasons in employing other self employed drivers.
The Business plan that i have written to expand my company was never taken into place, and it was a first draft, but just an insight. I did forget a main feature of taking Lieu Days and Holidays off from the equations.... lol
